Break Time!

With the hot summer months quickly approaching, many of us struggle to spend time outside. Our nice, cool, air-conditioned living rooms are more appealing than ever. Spending so much time inside can mean that we move less throughout the day. Which as many of us know, can negatively affect our mental health, physical well-being, and ability to focus.  Here are some quick tips to incorporate movement into an indoor routine. This can help your children use up their energy, improve well-being, and increase ability to focus. Win win win! YouTube has lots of fun dance videos! Want some Zumba for kids ? Or something Minion themed ? It's all there.  Have a dance party! Want to incorporate a game into it? Try to see who can freeze in the silliest dance pose.  Instead of watching TV on the couch - encourage your children to try sitting on a yoga ball.
